Previous: Improving my Chia farm monitoring

I’ve continued to improve my Chia monitoring (despite still not farming any XCH; but that was never really the point, right?). I’m collecting logs from both the Chia node1 and the plotting processes2 with promtail and loki. I’ve also added wallet balances to the prometheus chia_exporter (I find it looks much better to show my wallet balance in mojo, not 0 thanks to some official and unofficial faucets).

  1. I use the electron GUI through a VNC server ↩︎

  2. I manually run plotting from the CLI - it works for me to do it manually in tmux, but definitely check out plotman for a better way. ↩︎
